Conduct trend research.
Ability to understand different Brands we work for and incorporate trends into different brand positions
Design bras and panties styles that reflect each brand / buyers' brand positioning.
Work with the pattern/technical team on print / lace adjustments and details to assemble technical package.
Assist with product fitting & coordinate the collection along with samples and sketches.
Arrange costing along with merchandiser and review with marketing team and check the commercial aspect of the design and target pricings.
Work with the merchandising and production teams and ensure that calendars are adhered to for each buyer/brand/ merchandiser.
Ensure that a library of each buyers pattern block is made and maintained along with samplesEXPERIENCE: Highly creative,
detail-oriented,
organized,
Independent and accustomed to working with deadlines.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in undergarment and/or bathing suit design.
Technical expertise in bras and panties would be good.
Must have experience with garment construction.
Good Skill in Adobe Suites, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software in the Macintosh environment.EDUCATION: Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
