BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITIONThe incumbent serves as a procurement agent in GSO/PCU who performs procurement functions, and responds to requests from mission agencies. Handles procurement actions using the Ariba Module and e-Filling system for various equipment, supplies and services, and prepares appropriate documents -- especially official business cards, laundry, upholstery and curtain materials, office equipment repairs –under the Simplified Acquisitions Threshold. Handles off - the - shelf local purchases using petty cash and credit card orders. Performs administrative duties for GSO procurement – handles incoming mails, maintains PCU's LES leave slips and T&A records
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDApplicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific information supporting each item.  Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.

  1. EDUCATION:  Completion of secondary schooling is required
  2. EXPERIENCE: At least  two years of office/administrative work  at least one year of procurement, contracting, or supply experience required
  3. LANGUAGE:  Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required.   Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of Indonesian is required. (This will be tested.)
  4. JOB KNOWLEDGE:  Good understanding of procurement and contracting process and procedures. Basic knowledge of contracts terms and conditions. Must have familiarity with business practices and market conditions sufficient to identify sources for board range of products and services, evaluate bid responsiveness, contractor responsibility and contractor performance.
  5. SKILL and ABILITIES: Able to function independently when dealing with requestors from all levels, and dealing with all kinds of vendors, laborers, and managers is required. Able to monitor and manage multiple procurements and/or projects. Must have good organization skills and excellent customer service skills. Must have working computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), internet, and computerized procurement software.
